Join Institute for the Humanities graduate student fellow A. Sheree Brown in a conversation focusing on the visual culture resources UMMA created for the LSA Theme Semester, Understanding Race. 22 works of art have been selected to illuminate the complexity of conceptions and representations of race within several cultures. Brown will explore some of these objects and engage visitors in conversation about their genesis and interpretation. Reservations required at umma-tours@umich.edu.
