Perform in the 2012 Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show!

Attention all Dancers, Cheerleaders and Performers!
We are currently looking for performers to participate in the Detroit Lions/United Way Halftime Spectacular. Schedule: (subject to change)
Monday, November 19, 2012                5:00-9:00pm (Ford Field)
Tuesday, November 20, 2012               5:00pm-9:00pm (Ford Field)
Wednesday, November 21, 2012         3:00pm-9:00pm (Ford Field)
Thursday, November 22, 2012             10:00am-3:00pm (Game on… Show more Thanksgiving)
To be eligible, you must attend all rehearsals and have some dance, cheerleading or movement performance experience.  Performers must be 12-28 years of age.  Younger dancers are permitted if part of a studio or school group.
 
UPDATE:
Audition for a Featured Dancer Role!
All performers are invited to audition for a featured dancer or stage dancer role. Males and females, of all ages, are welcome. These is no additional fee for auditioning. Applicants will be asked to perform a jazz combination as well as free-style. Featured dancers that are selected at the audition will need to attend an additional rehearsal on Sunday, Nov. 18th from 9:00-1:00PM.
 
Please wear dance attire and dance shoes for the audition.

Audition Schedule: 
Saturday, November 17, 2012             3:00-6:00pm
Sunday, November 18, 2012                9:00-1:00pm (Rehearsal for all dancers selected on Saturday)
 
All Participants:
Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own transportation to rehearsals. On game day, we will provide busing to the game from the Oakland Mall for dancers and chaperones.
Food and Beverage: We will provide lunch for performers on game day.  Performers may bring snacks and water to rehearsals, but not to the game on Thursday, Nov. 22th.
Chaperones: Please provide one chaperone for every group or studio that signs up.  Additional chaperones will be considered on a first come, first serve basis.
Game Day: Performers and chaperones will not be able to watch the game. 
 
Registration: Deadline to register is Nov. 11th.You need to register in order to audition for a featured dancer.  The registration fee will cover a T-shirt, lunch, and bus ride on gameday.

Attire: Please wear comfortable dance attire for all rehearsals and the audition.  All rehearsals will take place on the football field and tennis shoes are reccommended.
