Meeting the Needs of All Learners - Differentiation Instruction

The Department of Evangelization, Catechesis and Schools is sponsoring a workshop for learners with special needs on Friday, February 8, 2013.  The workshop will be held at Sacred Heart Major Seminary for Principals, Teachers, Parish Catechetical Leaders, DREs, Catechists, and anyone interested in educating students. Participants can obtain 5 clock hours (SB-CEUs), (for more information about clock hour credits, see the December Principal's Newsletter). We are grateful to the Knights of Columbus… Show more for their generous contribution to help sponsor this event.

Ann Anzalone, a nationally known speaker, will be the facilitator for the day.  Ann teaches graduate classes at Wright State University and for the past 25 years, she has conducted workshops for K-12 teachers and administrators.

Some of the objective of the day will include identifying foundational skills for learning, differentiated learning, mind-body connection as it relates to learning, structures to teach active learning and current brain compatible learning strategies. Pre-registration is required.  You can register online or return the mail-in-form .  Registration form and check must be recieved by Friday, February 1, 2013.
