Concerts kick off 1812 tribute at Lake St. Clair Metropark

Throughout their career, 38-Special has opened for mega bands including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Trace Adkins, REO Speedwagon, and Styx; on Friday, July 6, they kick off a three-day War of 1812 Bicentennial Military Concert Series, sponsored by Miller Brewing and the U.S. Navy, at Lake St. Clair Metropark, near Mt. Clemens.

38 Special starts the southern flair with an 8 pm concert Friday, followed by… Show more Lorrie Morgan and The Outlaws at noon on Saturday, July 7. Joe Diffie and Aaron Tippin conclude the weekend festivities with a noon performance on Sunday, July 8. All three concerts take place along the lake at Lake St. Clair Metropark.

Purchase tickets at TicketMaster for $15 per person for each concert, or buy two tickets for any day and get a third ticket free for that same day, or buy one ticket for Friday and one ticket for Saturday and get one ticket for Sunday free. Ages 10 and under are free.
