Sangria is more than just a restaurant, it is also the local hub for latin music and dancing in Detroit. Sangria has salsa dancing with three nights of salsa music and dancing and a regular Flamenco show on Thursdays.
On Sundays Sangria showcases live music with Grupo Escobar downstairs. It is a great opportunity to have dinner, drinks and dancing to live music in a fun atmosphere. This is the only night like this in Detroit.
Wednedays, Sangria Sky Club hosts the longest running salsa night with salsa dancing lessons with Energetic Soul and music from SalsaDetroit's DJ Cisco.
Thursdays, is latin night with Energetic Soul and DJ Cisco again.
These are all quality events and it is a favorite location for people who like to get out, socialize and dance.
