Mike Espy Band with Yakity Yak
Yak and Mike represented Lansing at the International Blues Competition in 1997. Their recording Evening Sun came out the same year with favorable coverage as a Top Unsigned Act in the national publication Blues Revue. Yak and Mike next represented Detroit at the 2008 International Blues Competition and then Lansing in 2011.Featuring: William Yak Smith on vocals and harp with Mike Espy on guitar, Ronnie Collins on bass and John Barera on drums.
