Limelight Sports Bar and Grill

We usually go there for lunch. One night we decided to go in the evening, 9:10 pm. We walked in the door and see the specials for the day on the wall, Fish & Chips $6.99. I told the waitress an order of "fish & chips" and pointed to it on the specials of the day menu which showed $6.99. She never said anything about the “fish & chips”, just took our order and left. When the bill came there was an extra charge of a $1.00. I asked about the $1.00 charge. I was told dinner was an extra dollar. I told her I didn’t order dinner, I ordered the $6.99 fish and chip special. She said anything ordered after 4:00pm is dinner and showed me the top of the special menu where it states “Lunch – Includes Soft Drink, Dinner – Additional 1.00 Includes Soup, Salad, or Coleslaw”. Doesn’t state dinner is after 4:00pm and the waitress never asked us if we wanted soup, salad, or coleslaw. She just brought coleslaw with the fish & chips. I believe Lime Light purposely deceives their customers. The sign at the door should have said $7.99 since it was after 4:00pm and the waitress should have said “It’s a dollar more for dinner and it comes with soup, salad, or coleslaw.

I used to be a regular until I caught them overcharging for the food. I brought it to the attention of management - 3 different times. Now I eat where they aren't trying to rip me off. Check the receipt before you pay the bill!!
